20 years of Demoscene, by Onslaught

The demoscene is an international computer art subculture that specialises in producing demos: small, self-contained computer programs that produce audio-visual presentations. The main goal of a demo is to show off programming, artistic, and musical skills.

I was personally brought on board in the late nineties, when the PC revolutionĀ met the public internet, and we saw both community sites and parties spawning around the world. Twenty years have gone by, but the quest is still alive, and the craving still stings.

Onslaught has been an iconic formation since they first released in 1995, and at the recent Syntax 2015 party, they paid their own tribute to the past 20 years. Here you go.
